Outline of syllabus
PART A
PERIPHERAL MANUAL THERAPY
Upper extrimity
Detailed manual therapy to evaluate the joint in dysfunction
detailed biomechanical assessment and manual therapy techniques of the shoulder girdle, elbow, wrist and hand joints.
C Lower extremity
Detailed manual therapy to evaluate the joint in dysfunction detailed biomechanical assessment & manual therapy techniques of the hip, knee, foot and ankle joints.
PART B
SPINAL MANUAL THERAPY
Spine cervical,thoracic,lumbar And pelvis
course will focus on each spinal region, spinal and costal joints. It will include the performance and analysis of the selective tissue tension and biomechanical examinations and the manual physical therapy treatment of the thoracic and costal articulations with mid and end range mobilization.
Advanced Techniques
Integration of high-velocity low-amplitude (thrust) techniques into the total patient care, with emphasis on the spine, pelvic girdle and ribs.
Spinal Instability
lecture-demonstration workshop will review the current thoughts on clinical spinal instability, its possible etiology, efficient Physical Therapy assessment and intervention methods and communication of diagnosis and outcomes.
PART C
MUSCLE ENERGY TECHNIQUES AND TAPING
MET and the relevance to mechanical dysfunction OF ALL MUSCLES AROUND THE EXTREMITY AND SPINE taping methods of various joints AND used in manual therapy with clinical applications
PART D
MYOFASCIAL REALEASE
This course examines the significant role that assessment and treatment of the fascial system can play in patients with orthopaedic conditions. Current knowledge of fascial anatomy and physiology are introduced and the relevance to mechanical dysfunction explored. Manual Therapy for the Fascia involves the practical application of current knowledge in neurodynamics, myofascial release, neuro physiological treatment techniques, and manual therapy.
PART E
High velocity thrust Techniques of Spine and Peripheral Joints , Full detailed assessment and Its Application Techniques.
Part F
RECENT ADVANCEMENT IN MANUAL THERAPY AND EXAMINATION
This module is for all recent research and trends in manual therapy and its current and future applications.
